Heat 1 Tbs. oil in large pot. Add ground beef and cook over medium high heat for 5 minutes. Use a wooden spoon to help break up ground beef to allow even browning. Remove from heat.

Place ground beef in strainer over a bowl to allow excess fat to drain.

Add the remaining oil (2 Tbs.) to pot and cook onions over medium heat for about 8 minutes. Cook until translucent and slightly golden. Add in spices and stir for 1 minute.

Add Worcestershire sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and cooked ground beef. Simmer chili over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Brush the inside of buns with mayonnaise and sear over medium high heat until crisy, about 20-30 seconds.

Grill or sear the hot dogs until lightly charred and heated through, about 3-5 minutes

Place the cooked hot dog in bun and top with chili and other desired toppings.
