The Round
The round primal comes from the rear leg of the cow. Because these muscles are used frequently, the cuts from this section are naturally lean, firm in texture, and rich in beef flavor.
The round is commonly used for products like roast beef, deli-style sliced beef, and beef jerky. Its low fat content and tight muscle structure make it especially well suited for jerky, where the meat can be thinly sliced and dried while maintaining great flavor.
While round cuts are leaner than steaks from the rib or loin, they deliver excellent beef taste when prepared properly. Slow roasting, marinating, or slicing thin against the grain helps ensure tender, flavorful results.
Okay, so... all my adult life I have been searching for jerky that tasted just as pure and high quality as the ones we used to get on 8hr family roadtrips duting my childhood. We'd stop at some random country shop along the highway that offered such an incredible and delicious, quality jerky (without all the "junk"). It's been over 2 decades. I am sooo very thankful i added the jerky to our order. I really didn't expect to relive my childhood through the jerky from 44 farms, but here we are...and now my own little nugget & my husband get to enjoy it with me. My family was in Waxahachie, Texas at the meat Church store. I saw your beef jerky in a package there and tried it. Honestly, I thought 895 a pack that’s pretty high. Then I tried it after purchasing and have since made two orders direct from 44 farms. Hands-down the best beef jerky I have ever had. And the only beef jerky I will ever buy again. This is the best tasting beef jerky I have ever had. The biggest reason I like it though, is the fact it is easy to chew. That is a must for me. Win, Win! The flavor was OK, the texture I think was too thin. I was really looking forward to a great quality product. I do hope to still do business with you all in the future. The beef jerky was a lot less than what I expected.

Smoked my first rack of plate ribs and they were delicious. Very tender! The bones pulled right out after several hours of smoking. Sorry I haven't tried the jerky yet
Originally purchased as a package and Christmas gift to my son before he left his home out of state to spend the holidays with me. The jerky was accidentally left out of the order. I called 44 farms after learning this- they were apologetic, very understanding and willing to make this right. The jerky was shipped to my home for my soon to receive, and was something he could take back

My wife and I have been seeing 44 Steaks advertised on Fox News Station.
We took a trip to San Antonio mid November and the restaurant inside of the Embassy Suites Riverwalk served 44 Steaks. That steak was delicious. So, we ordered ourselves a bundle in December. We ate 1 of the 16 oz Ribeyes and it was better than the restaurant steak. We were actually able to cut the steak with a butter knife.
I also made some smash burgers on my grill with 1 of the 16 oz packs of ground beef.
We will be ordering some more meats again from 44 Steaks.
